The Women’s World Snooker (WWS) Tour has confirmed the Australian Women’s Open will be staged at the Mounties Club in Sydney on October 5-8, 2024.

ACT’s Lou Lou Siharath has won the 2018 State Women’s “Minor” Snooker Champion following the successful staging of this year’s event at Club Toukley RSL.

This year’s NSW Women’s State titles were again held at MINGARA RECREATION CLUB over the weekend of 16-17 September. Kathy Parashis defeated Megan Fullerton (3-2) in the final to win her 10th State Snooker title.

This year we had a field of nine ladies contesting for the NSW state title at Mingara Recreational Club on the NSW Central Coast. The venue was very well prepared and all those involved from Mingara Snooker & Billiards Club and Central Coast District Billiards & Snooker Assoc were most welcoming and a great ambassadors for the club.

Cathy Small of Lake Macquarie is the 2016 NSW State Women’s “Minor” Snooker Champion, hosted over the weekend of 18th-19th June by long-time supporters, Club Toukley RSL.

Since deciding to make a comeback to the game in 2014 after nearly 20 years absence, Queanbeyan player Theresa Whitten has taken little time to settle back into her winning ways. 

Casula’s Linda Larrea is the 2015 NSW State Women’s “Minor” Snooker Champion following the successful staging of this year’s event at Club Toukley RSL.

With several high profile players being absent from this year’s NSW State Women’s Snooker Championship, the opportunity was there for one of the lesser-known players to rise and enjoy some time in the spotlight. 

The 2014 NSW State Women’s “Minor” Snooker Championship has been won by promising cueist Annette Clifford from Coffs Harbour. Clifford’s victory has matched the effort of her fellow Club Coffs player Judy White-Singh, who won the same title last year.

Jessica Woods has certainly been the form player of women’s snooker in 2013 and has continued on her winning way with a successful title defence of the NSW State Women’s Snooker Championship.

Coffs Harbour visitor Judy White-Singh, affectionately known by her friends as “Miss Cue”, has emerged as the worthy winner of the 2013 NSW State Women’s “Minor” Snooker Championship. Runner-up in this event in 2011, Judy was the form player this year and thoroughly deserved her victory. The Championship was staged on 15th – 16th June at Club Toukley RSL.

Well-known Central Coast player Rhonda Knight has claimed her first State title following a determined victory in the 2012 NSW State Women’s “Minor” Snooker Championship which was staged at Club Toukley RSL on 16th – 17th June.
