The 107th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Snooker & Billiards NSW Inc. (SBNSW) was held virtually (via Microsoft Teams) on Wednesday 11th December 2024. This marked the fourth time the AGM was conducted in this format, and it proved successful once again, reflected in the strong attendance.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank those members who attended the AGM and to now advise all members of the formal results of the AGM.
Election of Directors:
Clause 11.2(a) of the Constitution provides for a maximum of seven (7) Directors to be elected annually and the following members were duly elected as Directors, in accordance with clause 12 of the Constitution:

David Waller
Carlie Tait
Peter Tankard
David McMahon
Todd Hayward
Jodie Wikeepa
In addition to the 7 elected directors, the Board may appoint up to 2 Appointed Directors. Members who believe they have the necessary skills and attributes to make a positive contribution as an Appointed Director with the SBNSW Board are encouraged to contact Carlie Tait.

The appointment of Peter Quinlivan as Public Officer was confirmed.

After many years of dedicated service as Chairman, Alex Render has decided to step down from the role. During his tenure, Alex has provided exceptional leadership, guiding SBNSW through significant milestones and challenges with dedication and vision. We are deeply grateful for his contributions, which have had a lasting impact on the organisation. Alex will remain on the Board and continue to contribute to the organisation. A new Chairperson will be appointed by the Board in due course.
