Event Wrap-Up: 2024 NSW State Junior Snooker & Billiards Championships

We had an incredible weekend of snooker and Billiards at Hornsby RSL

Congratulations to Jason Yu who won the U18 & U15 Snooker and was a semi finalist in the U18 Billiards, Jason played very well over the weekend and made the highest break of 43 along the way.

By winning the U18 Snooker Jason gets his name on the perpetual thropy dating back to 1981.

Max Handley our current U21 Champion was the Runner up. Max was also runner up in the U18 billiards

And a huge congratulations to Zachary Hilton who is the U18 Billiards Champion, Zach played extremely well to take the honors and was also a semi finalist in the U18 snooker.

A Special Congratulations to our rising star Akshaj Rana who is the under 12 Snooker champion, Akshaj was runner up in theU15 Snooker and a semifinalist in the U18 Billiards. Akshaj thoroughly deserved all the success on the weekend

Huge thanks to our host Hornsby RSL for their invaluable support, first class facilities & very friendly staff! Actually Hornsby RSL now have one of the best Snooker Rooms now in Sydney

And even bigger thanks to Andy de Haan and the snooker club members for giving up their room. Andy also gives up his time on Monday afternoon at 4pm to coach juniors at the club and does Adults at 6pm.

And of course a huge thank you to our referees & officials for their tireless work, dedication and commitment before, during and into the future.
