2018 NSW Masters Match Report
/This year’s Masters was again held at Club Marconi. Club Marconi is the home of the NSW Masters, South Pacific, Major Billiards events and a host of other events throughout the year. The club holds weekly tournaments for its members Friday nights and the Wednesday night Marconi snooker association competitions. All can join up and join in.
Terry Emmett has taken out this year’s NSW State Masters Snooker Title his first, congratulations Terry. Defeating Joe Minici 4-2 in the final. Joe Minici had the highest break of 82 in the final, please see separate attached list for high breaks.
We had 48 runners this year and it was decided to play a straight knockout format.
Once again Jim Ruisi was up before dawn to prepare the tables on both days, thank you Jim and the Marconi Snooker Association, these tournaments wouldn’t happen without them. Thank you to the Referees who stand up all day¸ and those who helped out.
Thank you to our fabulous team at BSANSW particularly Stuart Tait, Neville Moore and new comer Diana Ackary. And thank you to all the players and spectators who came along.
The next tournament is the NSW Minor Snooker at Toukley RSL and the Australian Masters at Mingara.
