The Central Coast Leagues Cup is our second Junior Snooker Tournament The Snooker Shop will be running in 2024. This initiative aims to fill the gap in providing frequent opportunities for Junior Snooker Players outside the yearly State or National Tournament.

The tournament will be a round robin format with the top player in each group going through to a Championship Semi-Final and the 2nd place in each group going through to a Repechage Semi-Final.

Round Robin to be 30min timed games with 6 reds, semi-finals to be 40min timed games with 10 reds, final to be 45min timed game with 15 reds (format subject to change dependant on entries).

Dress Code:

Black Leather (School Style) Shoes, Long Black Pants, Polo Shirt supplied by The Snooker Shop.

There are no entry fees to enter and Trophies and Polo Shirts to be supplied by The Snooker Shop.

Age criteria: This tournament will be open to players 15 years of age and under. Younger than 10 can be considered on application. 

(Note: This is an U15 tournament but we are allowing 15 year olds to boost participation. Entry for 15 year olds is subject to the discretion of the TD, this is a junior development tournament designed to give juniors more opportunities to play in a fun learning environment so is targeted to juniors in this category).

Strictly limited to the first 16 entries (this limit is to accommodate the round robin format to give everyone maximum playing time). 

Parental/Guardian supervision must remain within club premises at all times during the day.

Photos will be taken on the day for future promotional purposes.

This initiative aims to fill the gap in providing frequent opportunities for junior snooker players outside the yearly State or National Tournaments. This series promises a thrilling platform for our young snooker enthusiasts.

**Event Highlights:**

Tournament Director: Andy de Haan

Age Criteria: U15 for ages 10+ (as long as they haven’t turned 15 by the tournament date)

• Dress Code: Long trousers with a polo shirt (sponsored and supplied by The Snooker Shop)

**Tournament Format:**

Group Round Robin Format

Top player from each group advances to the main semi-final draw

2nd place in each group advances to the repechage semi-final draw

Timed Games: 6 reds for round-robin stage, 10 reds for semi-finals, 15 reds for the final

**Entry Details:**

• No entry fee

• Trophies supplied by The Snooker Shop for all semi-finalists, runners-up, and winners of both main cup and repechage cup.
