RON SHEPHARD MEMORIAL HANDICAP BILLIARDS TOURNAMENT PROUDLY SPONSORED BY THE SHELLHARBOUR CLUB 3 RD & 4 TH August 2019 at The Shellharbour Club
This tournament is played in the format where players must score a set number of points (their handicap) at each visit to the table before scoring points on the board. Once the handicap is reached during a visit, these points are added to the total break for that visit. Handicaps will be based on current IBSA gradings and known abilities. Non-Illawarra players handicaps will be allocated by previous years’ handicaps and/or known abilities. The tournament organisers will allocate all handicaps and their decision is final. Tournament organisers retain the right to alter handicaps on the day where deemed necessary.
All games up to and including the Quarterfinals will be 1 hour. The Semi-Finals will be 1 hour 30 minutes. The Final will be 2 hours Dress rules for Saturday will be neat attire, collared shirt. No jeans or joggers. Dress rules for Sunday will be long trousers, long sleeved shirt buttoned at wrist, Waistcoat or sleeveless pullover, long or bow tie, shoes and socks. Entry Fee is $20 Each player will receive a meal voucher to the value of $10 and 2 drink vouchers. Players will be notified of match times. Losing players will be required to referee the next match. All players must report to the Tournament Organiser upon arrival at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled match time.
